Check out this hot new game.

Also, for fun times when you're sitting at your desk and have no work to do, which is always, consider some of these games:

Stoggerello,

I couldn't get into "Cat Got Lost," but I clicked on the other link and enjoyed playing through one of the games, "Every day the same dream." It was my kind of game - incredibly easy, but thematically weird and rich.

Yes, that was actually the first of those games that I played. The screenshot compelled me to it. It was interesting, and I wish it had gone on just a bit longer.

Another kind of fun, easy game is from the November 9 page. It's called Small Worlds.

On the completely opposite end of the spectrum, I have something that I think might DELIGHT one JACK BOETTCHER. I have recently taken to TIME TRIALING on MARIO KART 64. However, I am only GOOD at one stage thus far, because I have concentrated my efforts on it ENTIRELY over the last 1.5 weeks. That stage is KOOPA TROOPA BEACH STAGE, and I have recorded a 1:26.68. That places me in the MASTER F category on mariokart64.com I play with TOAD. I aspire to someday reach your RANKING OF 511 IN THE WORLD (http://www.mariokart64.com/mk64/pl.cgi) in terms of GENERAL SKILL. I say this as a COMPLIMENT rather than a CHALLENGE. I will likely GIVE UP before I even learn all of the STAGES. I am achieving BLISTERS on my FINGERS. I am no MICHAEL JONGERIUS, aka MJ.

(Imagine that I had put a humorous, yet slightly irrelevant smiley here.)

That web site does NOT indicate my final level of Mario Kart Time Trialing expertise. I eventually reached the Elite level. I just never sent it in. You gotta believe me. I eventually got down to a 1:43.77 on Luigi Raceway. I can't imagine there ever being a comeback, but you never know.

I also recall your inclination toward comparing your time trial times to track events, i.e. nice 800.

You Only Live Once

The best part is how the game lives up to its title.

white knight chronicles
dante's inferno
demon's souls (own, not playing)
darksiders (own, currently playing)
final fantasy xiii
god of war iii
dragon age: awakening expansion
nier

i may throw heavy rain in there, but i imagine once 13 hits the shelves early march, i may be preoccupied...

This just got posted on AVC, and I haven't yet had time to play it. But tomorrow I'll definitely play all of these games to alleviate the vacuity of my working life. They look promising:

@ home with the flu, so I will give most of these a try. I have already beaten balloon in a wasteland, and it was very easy, but still worth playing. I started playing sushi cat a few days ago, and it was fun, too. Like playing plinko with a cat.
